Meglio una bella serie, ma in versione audio!

E non una serie qualunque, ma Serial:

il 9 febbraio 1999 la studentessa Hae Min Lee di 18 anni viene trovata strangolata in un bosco nel Maryland, Stati Uniti. Il suo ex fidanzato, Adnan Masud Syed, viene arrestato e dopo un processo di 6 mesi condannato all'ergastolo, nonostante continuasse a dichiararsi innocente.
Una giornalista, appassionatasi al caso, inizia 14 anni dopo a spulciare tra gli appunti dell'avvocato di Adnan (nel frattempo deceduta), ad ascoltare le registrazioni delle deposizioni al processo, a intervistare amici e parenti dei ragazzi... fino ad avere dubbi sulla colpevolezza di Adnan ...

Ok, fin qui niente di particolarmente appassionante se non che:

• la storia è VERA, e Adnan è ancora in carcere a scontare l'ergastolo
• le interviste, le registrazioni delle deposizioni, gli incontri con gli amici, sono stati presentati dalla giornalista come un Audio Serie podcast di 12 puntate, e trasmesse ogni settimana da ottobre 2014 riscuotendo un successo enorme, da allora gli episodi sono stati scaricati da ITunes più di 68 milioni di volte.
• le indagini condotte dalla giornalista hanno instillato talmente tanti dubbi sulla colpevolezza di Adnan da convincere la Corte a concedergli l'appello, 15 anni dopo la condanna. L'appello sarà nel mese di giugno 2015.

ce n'è di che appassionarsi, Adnan è veramente colpevole? Riuscite a trovare nelle registrazioni degli indizi che sono sfuggiti agli avvocati e al giudice?

February 9 th 1999 the 18 year-old student Hae Min Lee is found strangled in a wood in Maryland, (US). Her ex-boyfriend, Adnan Masud Syed, is arrested and after a 6 month trial he is given a life sentence, despite pleading his innocence.
A journalist, passionated by the case, more than 14 years later starts to look into the notes of the lawyer of Adnan (deceased the meantime), to listen to the recordings of the trial, to interview friends and relatives of Adnan and Hae... providing evidence of doubts on the guilt of Adnan...

Ok, so far nothing exciting, but consider that:

• This is a TRUE STORY
• Adnan is still in jail, the history is True, and Adnan is still in the jail serving his LIFE SENTENCE
• The interviews, the recordings of the trial, the meetings with friends and relatives, collected by the journalist have been packed as an Audio Series PODCAST of 12 episodes, and radio-broadcasted weekly starting from October 2014. Beaucoup mieux une belle série en version sonore!
